It is with heavy hearts that we remember Jennie Moran of Wausau, whose unexpected passing has left a deep void in the lives of those who knew and loved her.
Affectionately known as the “fair weather farmer,” Jennie was anything but fair-weather in her commitment to the people around her. For eight years, she faithfully showed up every Thursday to help on the farm—rain or shine, through busy seasons and even during her own cancer treatments. Whether she was labeling tomatoes, lending a hand at markets, or simply offering encouragement, Jennie’s presence was constant, generous, and full of heart.
She was the kind of friend who gave without hesitation. Jennie brought coffees when they were needed most, stepped in during delivery mishaps, and made sure others had a moment to rest. She celebrated birthdays with homemade desserts and shared in both the victories and the challenges of those around her. Her support made a difference in ways both big and small, and her kindness will never be forgotten.
Beyond her helpful spirit, Jennie had a warmth that drew people in. She offered wisdom, laughter, and a sense of balance that helped others navigate life’s ups and downs. She was not just a helping hand—she was a true friend, someone who stood beside others through every season.
Her passing leaves an emptiness that cannot be filled, especially within the farming community she so deeply loved. Yet, her legacy lives on in the countless memories she helped create, the friendships she nurtured, and the lives she touched so deeply.
As friends and loved ones grieve, they also celebrate a life defined by generosity, resilience, and unwavering presence.
Jennie Moran will be forever loved, deeply missed, and always remembered.
May she rest in peace.
