It is with profound sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Sarah Spivey of Greensboro, Georgia, who died unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. Her loss has left family, friends, and all who knew her heartbroken, as they come to terms with the reality of a life gone far too soon.
Sarah will be remembered first and foremost as a beloved daughter whose presence brought meaning, love, and connection to those closest to her. Her journey over the past 18 months was marked by a difficult and often unexplained series of health challenges. Despite the uncertainty and hardship she faced, she remained at the center of her family’s care and devotion, surrounded by those who supported her through each stage with hope, patience, and unwavering love.
Her passing at home came unexpectedly, deepening the grief of those who had been walking alongside her through her health struggles. In the wake of this loss, her family now holds tightly to the memories of who Sarah was beyond illness—a person whose life was defined not by her struggles, but by her relationships, her quiet strength, and the love she shared with others.
Sarah’s life will be formally honored with a Celebration of Life service on Monday, May 4, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Lakeside Church in Greensboro, Georgia. The service will be officiated by Pastors Kevin Magness and Stephen Chambers, who will lead family and friends in remembrance, prayer, and reflection. Following the service, a luncheon reception will provide an opportunity for those gathered to share memories, offer comfort, and support one another in community.
A private family burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that contributions be made to Lakeside Church in Sarah’s memory, allowing her legacy to be honored in a way that continues to support others within the community she was connected to.
