Kameron Bristoe, 35, of Paducah, passed away tragically on Friday morning, May 1, 2026, as a result of a devastating head-on collision in McCracken County. His sudden passing has left family, friends, and the wider community heartbroken and mourning a life gone too soon.
According to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded at approximately 5:25 a.m. to the 9800 block of Blandville Road following reports of a serious two-vehicle collision. Preliminary findings indicate that Kameron Bristoe was operating a 2011 Chevrolet Impala westbound when his vehicle collided head-on with a 2013 Jeep Cherokee traveling eastbound, driven by Christopher Martin, 47, of Kevil, Kentucky. The two vehicles came together in the eastbound lane under circumstances that remain under investigation.
Emergency personnel from multiple agencies responded to the scene, including Mercy Regional Ambulance, Concord Fire Department, West McCracken Fire Department, Lone Oak Fire Department, McCracken County DES, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Harper’s Towing, and Coroner Amanda Melton. Despite their efforts, Kameron Bristoe was pronounced deceased at the scene by the McCracken County Coroner’s Office.
Christopher Martin sustained serious, incapacitating injuries and was transported for medical treatment, first to a local hospital and later transferred out of state for further care.
